Expectations
Fort Meade Executive Airport is a general aviation airport. The airport does not provide commercial passenger services.
Access, facilities, and services are designed to support pilots, aircraft operators, and aviation-related visitors. Visitors arriving by air or ground should expect a functional regional airport environment rather than a commercial airline terminal.

Safety First
Fort Meade Executive Airport is an active aviation facility. For safety reasons, visitors should remain within authorized areas and be aware of aircraft movement at all times.
Unescorted access to airfield areas is not permitted. Visitors attending meetings, tours, or aviation-related activities should follow instructions provided by airport staff or authorized personnel.
For general questions prior to arrival, visitors are encouraged to contact airport operations.

Terminal Access & Flight Planning
Terminal access may vary depending on the time of day and airport operations. During staffed hours, visitors may access designated public areas of the terminal. After-hours access may be limited.
The flight planning room is available for planning and includes DUATS access, DTN weather services, vending machines, and 24-hour restroom access. As you face the terminal building from the ramp, the flight planning room is located on the right side of the building.
Visitors and pilots should follow all posted signage and instructions when entering airport facilities. For access-related questions or special requests, contacting airport operations in advance is recommended.
Loading & Unloading
During operating hours, vehicles are permitted access to the ramp for loading and unloading. Please see our on-duty operations staff to enter through the gate.
After-hours, you may use the personnel gate located on the east end of the Terminal building. The gate code can be found in the flight planning room, posted by the registration log.
